Minus tio is a proud supplier of stools and tables to a new coffee shop in Oslo, Norway. The “Café Laundromat” is not the ordinary coffee place:
“Café Laundromat is a unique concept where people with different interests can meet in a friendly place. This is a not-so-ordinary café with the aim of being a meeting place for ordinary people. Here our guests can combine a cafe visit with laundry in a friendly environment. We have a large library, with Norwegian and international magazines and books available for our guests.
Laundry. One of our main themes is that we have a laundry in the house. Those of our guests who do not have their own washing machine at home can come here for the “Laundry Day”, they can have a bite to eat, drink coffee or sit in our library and read a good book while waiting for the spotlessly clean laundry.
Library. With over 3000 books our library is one of the largest libraries in Oslo which is not municipal owned. Here you can find all kind of books, from old classics to new comics and our archive continues to grow. It will be possible for our customers to borrow these books.”
The interior is made by Simon James Design. Environmental concern and recycling are fundamental in the design and vintage Scandinavian furniture is mixed with brand new. The whole interior has a touch of cottage from the 50 – and 60’s.
Minus tio has delivered Audrey bar stools and Esther side tables.
