“Billboard” by Mats Theselius & Andreas Roth

During Stockholm Furniture Fair minus tio premiers a brand new product line by Mats Theselius and Andreas Roth. It is a series of billboards in a number of carefully selected colours and with a printed grid pattern that can be built and combined, horizontally or vertically. A Billboard to draw on, to attach magnets or images on, to leave as a painting, to build a colourful wall from or to present as a foreign object, a conversation piece. All at once.

Billboard will be premiered on the 6:th of Feburary at gallery Sebastian Schildt+, Nybrogatan 25, Stockholm. The exhibition “New works” also includes a number of other new works by Mats Theselius. “New works” will be open until the 25:th of February.

Ruth composition

The product range is extended with the lounge table Ruth. It’s a cousin to Ester and fits perfectly in public as well as private spaces. Ruth is made from clear lacquered oak, black stained oak or clear lacquered birch. The shelf in brass, white or red comes as an option.

Cosmos X pedestal table

The product range is extended with Cosmos X, a new member of the Cosmos family. With additional pillars and larger table top surface Cosmos X is especially suitable for meeting rooms and flexible workspaces. More information is found on the Cosmos X product page.

Object

Designer Mats Theselius and artist Andreas Roth call their new storage unit “”A poetry in steel, glass, stone, wood and plastic”. It’s a unique piece in five different materials where the materiality itself is an important part of the experience. All units are able to open and Swedish marble is combined with brass, corian, glass and oak. The height is 900 mm and it measures 1400 x 1000 in the base.

Esther

Ester is a sideboard in black stained or clear lacquered birch. With a larger surface and a magazine shelve in brass or white she is an addition to the stool series Audrey.

Cosmos

Cosmos is a brand new series of pedestal tables reflecting the designers fascination for rocket and robots with human expression. The turned base in oak is either clear lacquered or painted and four different heights, from 600 to 1100 mm, makes it a really versatile table.

New Audrey

The stool series Audrey, with inspiration from Audrey Hepburn and the Hyllie water tower outside Malmö, is now available with upholstery. The natural or black leather upholstery fits all heights and can be combined with different colours of the foot rest.

Invitation to Stockholm Furniture Fair

Minus tio are showing news in stand A36:21 at Stockholm Furniture Fair 9-13th of February.

Mats Theselius and Andreas Roth have designed a storage cabinet, a unique standalone unit based on their investigations of the composition and separation of various raw materials. Swedish marble and brass is combined with corian, glass and wood. Find more information in an interview with the designers further down.

Svensson/Wingård have designed a series of pedestal tables based on robot and space aesthetics. It’s also opening night for a sideboard and elegant, upholstered stools.

Theselius/Roth

Minus tio proudly presents two new designers, Mats Theselius and Andreas Roth.

They have designed a storage cabinet, unique in terms of expression and format as well as in detailing. The piece originates in Theselius’ and Roth’s investigations of the composition and separation of various raw materials.

The cabinet is premiered by minus tio at Stockholm Furniture Fair in February 2010. Further information will be provided during January.
